The first official Beacon Art WalkAbout was HOT! Even with 90+ degree temperatures, over 200 people came out to enjoy the art, music, and food. We walked like a zombie at the intersection of 15th and Beacon much to the amusement of SDOT. Art was hung at over 30 businesses along Beacon Avenue. Beautiful arts and crafts were on display at our art market. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the wading pools and drawing. We tapped our toes to some great tunes and capped it off with a great back patio party at El Quetzal. All in all, a great day!  Thanks to all of the businesses, artists, performers, and volunteers who made this day possible.
