A free weekly evening of literary family fun for six weeks, where your child keeps up to 10 award-winning books.

Beacon Arts and Humanities Washington offer a free six-week program for children ages 6 to 10 and their families!  This award winning series will be offered twice in 2026.

Prime Time Preschool! SOLD OUT!

We are offering a Preschool version for families with kids 3-5 years old. The whole family is encouraged to attend

Join us for  6 Tuesdays, March 10, 17, 24, 31 & April 7 & 14, 2026,  5:30-7:00pm at Beacon Hill First Baptist Church , 1607 S Forest St, Seattle, WA 98144 . Space is limited, please complete the application form to request a space for your family.

- Each night will include a complimentary dinner, storytelling, reading, and age appropriate activities. 

 

- Parent/Guardian must attend. All family members are encouraged to attend. 

- Dinner is served at 5:30pm.

We will contact you to confirm your enrollment. 

Family Prime Time Reading will return!

 

TBA Fall 2026 Online application will open in July 2026.

Develop a lifelong love of reading in your family through Prime Time Family Reading. Designed for families with children ages 6-10 years old, but siblings of any age can join. You'll enjoy engaging, family-based reading and discussion on topics such as fairness, courage, and dreams. Our discussion strategies are proven to increase creativity, critical thinking, and academic success .

- Each night will include a complimentary dinner, storytelling, reading, and discussion. 

 

- Free childcare and activities are available for 3 to 5 year-old family members. 

- Dinner is served at 5:30pm.
