Beacon Hill Street Fairs Volunteer Application
This application is for various volunteer opportunities at the Beacon Hill Street Fairs on July 11, July 9, August 13, and September 10, between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm.
These Street Fairs, organized by Beacon Arts, will be held outside on the Roberto Maestas Festival Street in April, May, June, July, August, and September. You will be notified if you were accepted and for which dates. If the event is full, you will be put on a wait list in case of cancellation. The following opportunities are available:
Garden Share Set Up: Unload truck, set up canopies, table & chairs with plants and signage.
Plant Donation Table: Count, label and sort donated plants.
Garden Share Take Down: Load truck with tables, chairs, signs and canopies pack up leftover plants.
Vendor Parking: Direct vendors vehicles to unload on Festival Street. Direct them to parking and give them parking passes.
Market Set Up: Put out signs on Festival Street, assist vendors to load in safely and exit to park their cars.
Market Take Down: Take down signs on Festival Street, assist vendors to load out and exit safely.
Beacon Arts Info Table: Event ambassador, share printed information, accept donations, distribute donor gifts, sell merchandise.
Button Sales: Sell event buttons for suggested donation $5.
Art Activities Helper: Support artists working with the public, invite folks to participate and help them with supplies and encouragement.
